Prepare The Property Checklist
Small improvements and simple styling changes can create a strong first impression and achieve a magazine-quality look without the need for a big budget.

Close any garage doors
No cars in driveway
Mow and water lawns, hide wheelie bins if possible
Use broom to remove any cobwebs from eves or doorframes
Remove any hoses
Remove any toys, balls etc
Wipe down outdoor setting and make sure cushions arent faded or ripped
Put away any tools, bricks, wheelbarrows etc
Open Umbrellas if not windy
Open BBQ cover and clean exterior of BBQ
If you have a pool or spa, take off covers and remove pool supplies.

Clean all windows, even more if you have a view to show off!
Vacuum, mop and clean all benches
Ensure any lightbulbs/down lights work and match including lamps
Remove all personal photographs in frames on walls
Remove any rugs, tea towels, bathroom towels, tablecloths etc

Remove magazines, papers, mail, personal documents etc
Hide remote controls, game consoles, tablets and devices
Dust all areas and vacuum
Remove any animal or children’s toys
Matching pillows look effective, remove any mismatched rugs

Clear countertops, no knife blocks, baking supplies or papers
Clean fridge and remove all magnets or papers
Hide any bins
Remove any dishes and dish dryer racks from sink
Hide plus and dish cloths
Remove everything from kitchen table
Remove any extra chairs sitting around

Make sure all beds are made and neat
No toys on beds or floor
Tidy dressing tables free of clutter
Remove anything under bed
Remove phone chargers
